A tasting and supper
We are thrilled to have Kevin Barbry coming to lead a tasting of new-season wines from Beaujolais and ‘other regions’. A native of Brittany, a nose for interesting wines and an approach that has led us to list numerous wines I probably would never have come across.
Kevin works for one of our biggest wine suppliers, Les Cave de Pyrene, who hunt out and make interesting wines all over the world. His focus? Low-intervention, good farming and interesting people. He excels on all fronts (and also makes his own wine in Kent).
As yet the wines are to be confirmed but we are definitely opening Beaujolais along others from that area and, we hope, from further afield.
